Compare to Swingline Optima Staples

I use my Swingline high capacity stapler for thousands of thick card stock cards that are put together in groups of 6-7 or more and thick packets of regular printer paper. The Swingline staples are very expensive. I found these worked just a well with my Optima Model Stapler #8787x that requires only Swingline High Capacity Optima Staples #35550.

Poor Product

I purchased these because the store at which I made my purchase was out of the national brand (Swingline) in this size. The staples frequently jam and will not penetrate the number of sheets that are listed as their capacity. I wish that I had not purchased them and made the trip to a competitor's store to purchase the national brand - they are worth the higher price.

Staples should know better than to produce a sub-standard product and pawn it off as comparable to Swingline!

I have a heavy duty stapler which requires Stanley staples. Staples does not carry this brand and after review of all heavy duty staples purchased these. Big mistake. Had to go to local office supply store to purchase correct staples. Was told that my stapler was a very common brand.
