Didn't even get this product completely unpacked so I can't tell you how it works, what I can tell you is the website lies with regards to what it can and can't do. The website says this product can process staples and paper clips, however the manufacturer says it cannot. It might be able to but if you try and break it you will void your warranty. I've already called and told this to a Staples rep, but I see it has not been changed on their website yet. Just trying to save the next shopper some time.

Great shredder for an entire department. It is so quiet that the copy machine makes more noise! Must be the solid steal cutting blades. Big metal casters make moving the unit around easy. Great machine.

Problems with it after only one use. The 'Voice Assist' alerted us that the bin was full. After the bin was emptied and put back into the machine, it continued to say the bin was full. I vacuumed the inside of the bin and sensors, restarted it and even removed the bin entirely but it still indicated a full bin. It shredded everything very well on its first use but has not worked since. We were told a week and a half ago that we would hear from the return specialist in 48 hours. So far I am very unhappy with the product and level of service on a very expensive shredder.

This shredder is so quiet, handles a lot of paper at one time. In comparision to our other shredder (which was half the price 5 years ago)-- there is no comparison. Everyone who has used it has commented on how nice and quiet it is. Very well worth the money!!
