The Staples wall mounted surge protector is great. The space behind the computer is much neater now and it does not look like the same as when you use a strip. I really recommend this surge protector. The feature I liked the best was the fact that you can acommodate all bigger plugs and still looks neatly organized.

I bought this for my kitchen wall to plug in my new mixer. This has to be plugged into the top socket, and you have to replace the faceplate screw with the one for this unit. That was not clear on the package. So you only gain two sockets. Mine is a panel with a light switch and it is now difficult to flip the switch. But the unit is compact and works well with the rotating outlets.

  For installation, take the screw out of the wall plate, plug in the surge protector and screw it in to the wall plate.

As a follow up question, is there a surge protector offered by Staples with a flush wall plug?

I can not seem to find one, and all customer service representatives are referring me to this product. I am now recieving mixed responses. I need a surge protector with a flush wall plug. Can you help?
