The Staples wall mounted surge protector is great. The space behind the computer is much neater now and it does not look like the same as when you use a strip. I really recommend this surge protector. The feature I liked the best was the fact that you can acommodate all bigger plugs and still looks neatly organized.

I am using this in a small space next to my desk for my printer and other office electronics.
Having the outlets rotate to accommodate plugs of varying sizes is most helpful. It even fits the cell phone charger without having to sacrifice the use of a second outlet because of the charger size. I am happy with this product.

  For installation, take the screw out of the wall plate, plug in the surge protector and screw it in to the wall plate.

"No, the design of this product is not a flush mount, it does protrude from the wall and is not flush with the wall surface. Some reviews also mention that the central mounting screw on some wall plates can interfere with the surge protector plugging in properly."

As a follow up question, is there a surge protector offered by Staples with a flush wall plug?

I can not seem to find one, and all customer service representatives are referring me to this product. I am now recieving mixed responses. I need a surge protector with a flush wall plug. Can you help?
