This is a nifty trimmer with multiple knives for special effects. I use these effects to make my projects more attractive and gain a professional appearance. The product is sturdy and trims papers neatly without tearing or snagging. The multiple knives and functionality of the 5in1 trimmer features were very easy to select without use of any outside tools. No special set-up is required and the trimmer can be put to use right out-of-box. While this product may not be the best for heavy-duty commercial use it certainly can handle the more infrequent small or home office needs when cropping photos or creating cuts, folds or perforations to documents as needed.

It's a nice little trimmer for light work, but you can't replace the blade when it gets dull. The manual states you have to replace the entire blade assembly (thereby wasting three decorator blades), but Staples doesn't carry the replacement blade assembly.

I paint cards and I purchase paper that I cut. I love the ease of it's use. I cut fifteen to twenty piece of cardstock everyday. I also cut 20 lb paper everyday. I love that I can cut five sheets of paper at one time!!! This saves me so much time. I also find it leaves a very clean edge on the paper whether I'm cutting cardstock or paper. I would definately recommend this product to a friend. I am on an extremely tight budget, however I am so glad I spent the extra money to purchase this product!

I needed something to cut back-to-=back pages and this serves the prupose. I didn't want anything as heavy and massive and expensive as one of the large wood-block and handle paper cutters. I saw this online, viewed it at the store and determined it would do what I needed.

However, I have found it that it takes some time and care in getting the pages lined up exactly as I want them. I cut a few pages incorrectly until I got the hang of using this.

I would advise first inserting some blank paper into the unit with a straight line drawn by ruler so you can gauge where to place the paper accurately for cutting.

Great for small projects. For the money, it did what I needed it to do. Not sure how long it would hold up or larger projects.
