I like the fact that the connection ends are protected. It's why I was buying a new cable in the first place, I broke the little plastic piece to my ethernet cable and it makes a difference when plugged in, it doesn't quite work right w/o it. Thank you Staples for thinking of what seems like an insignificant thing as the connection points of a ethernet cable, but to make it so the plastic piece is better protected was pretty smart.
