These discs burn very well to excellent on my LG-H10N burner. This is at full speed 16x. In addition, the results are so repeatable that I have pretty much stopped testing every disc that I burn. With my other burners (Liteon, Pioneer, Samsung), the results are not nearly as good, and I have to limit burn speed to no more than 12x. If you want discs that work well on all or nearly all burners, then limit yourself to Verbatim or Taiyo Yuden. But if you have an LG-H10N, you will love these discs.

Bought my TVs DVD recorder/player exactly 3 years ago. Used other DVD brands, such as Sony, with the same specs as this one, and the other brands recorded reliably. Staples DVDs did not record anything on my TV DVD, nor from my computer. Been recording a show every week with the non Staples successfully, until I had to start using the Staples brand DVDs. I am returning them soon, and getting a different brand, or a refund.

My laptop will reject the disks 2 or 3 times before acceptting and then they usually work fine. My external burner does not acknowledge these disks at all and will not play one after it is burn by my laptop. All other disks, brands, dvd-rw and dvd-rdl work.

when it came to data storage its good but home videos out of my 50pk i bought 13 dvd's went sour, dvd's played and videos got stuck in middle froze just terrible when it came to home videos...

I bought a 50 pack. So far I've used 30. Out of the 30 about 14 were either coasters or had drop out in both audio and video. I had the same proplem as one other reviewer... Long burn time then it would stop and did not record or would not play in my DVD player. Only about 1/2 of these actually did run through and burn okay.

Most times I only spot check every third or fouth DVD that I burn. With these I have to sit and watch every one all the way through. That just takes too much time. I'm going to Staples to see if they'll replace them.

These discs would take forever to burn a movie, and then near the end there would be an error and the burning would cancel. If the burning was successful, half the time my dvd player wouldn't play the movies. This isn't a program error because other brands of discs worked fine on the same days as the Staples discs did not. I did notice that while trying to play movies from these discs, my player would start and stop, and while trying to burn to them my computer's drive would start and stop. It's as if these discs make machines hiccup, if you will. I will be taking them back to purchase a more reliable brand.
