Exactly What I Needed...

I went specifically to Staples hoping to purchase a power cord for an older model computer monitor. I wasn't sure what I needed, but the store associate knew exactly what I was looking for. Even tho I was uncertain still, he assured me that I could return the cord if it wasn't right. Got home with it and it worked great! It was exactly what I needed!

These things are very common and should not cost 12 dollars. I needed it for a client who happened to be located near Staples and time was a factor, so I bought it and had to soak the cost to save time. The service was great. The product is high quality. However, I would have preferred to pay less.

The Power Supply on my daughter's computer went out after a recent storm. I sent my wife to Staples to pick one up. Now, I don't expect her to know everything about computers, but I do expect the Staples employees to be knowledgeable and helpful.

The employee who was helpng her told her THIS was a power supply.

Really?

I'm not sure how a mistake like this happened, but it cost me a day and 40 miles worth of gas. In the end I ordered the power supply from an online retailer and had it shipped overnight.

It was half the price of a power supply at Staples.

It also came with a power cord.

I really love my local Staples and buy there whenever I can, but with gas prices like they are I can't afford mistakes like this. Please try harder next time.
