This is good entry level protection for your electronics. provides warranty for your stuff and real surge suppression. For high end electronics I recomend a conditioner or a UPS most DEFINATELY though.

This unit looks very nice. The cord was short, and just right for my purpose. When my other cords are plugged into it, the unit will NOT set down flat, it tips over! There is no way to hang it. I have never had this happen before. I will need to buy another, but will do that when I can go to a store and made CERTAIN the unit is what I need (and want!)

I purchased this outlet strip primarily because it has the 4' cord. Most outlet strips you purchase only have a 3' cord and there are many applications where having just that one more foot length gives you more flexibility in locating the power strip. Another added feature is the right angle plug which allows any piece of furniture you place in front of it to be pushed back all the way to the base board without crimping the wire coming out of the plug. The 45 degree angle of the wire coming out of the plug allows you to more fully utilize the 4' length of the cord. Otherwise you loose nearly a foot of the length as the cord bend back up from the more standard downward orientation.

  This unit has a continuous electrical rating of 15A/125V/1875W. I read the average plasma uses 300+ watts, so this should handle it. Check the specifications for your TV and whatever else you might be plugging in to the same unit to see if it would work for certain.
