    The best reason to buy the surge protector is because of the swivel outlets. I can now push my furniture and flat screen TVs much closer to the wall because the outlets swivel and therefore the plugs are oriented parallel to the wall instead of perpendicular. I recently had a severe power surge and these saved all my equipment - other equipment not surge protected was fried. The price is relatively low compared to other surge protectors. The outlets are space fine for normal plugs, but if you have a large adapter type plug you will not get the use of all 6 outlets. But again the main design feature which makes this a great buy is that the outlets swivel for use behind furniture, TVs, etc...

    I lost 2 computers but I thought the warranty would take care of it. I found out that it only covers what they think it is worth. Itn would haven taken several weeks to get the computers working if I had topm wait to see if they nwere covered. These are business computers and they needed to be fixed right away.Totally disgusted with product. Will never buy another "Staples" surge protector!

                  This surge protector plugs into both outlets of a standard duplex outlet. The plastic post on the back plugs into the grounding hole of the second outlet to ensure it is firmly secured to the wall.
