Q: Does it mean the protection value is gone when the surge light is red? Asked on 3/13/2012 by Anonymous Know the answer? Answer this question 2 answers A: A lit ‘Protected’ green LED indicates surge protection is operating normally (if it is NOT lit, it may mean a substantial surge event has occurred and the surge protector should be replaced). A lit ‘Grounded’ green LED indicates the wall outlet is properly grounded (if it is NOT lit, it means the outlet is not properly grounded and another outlet should be used to ensure full surge protection). When both green LED are lit it indicates normal operation and full surge protection. To place an order for this item, please contact us by dialing 1-800-333-3330. Answered on 3/14/2012 by Liz C from Staples A: No the red light just indicate that there is power to the protector, not the protection is lost. Answered on 3/15/2012 by Community Answer from None

Q: Does this surge protector have mounting holes on the back so you can mount it under a desk or on a wall? I looked at this product at the store and it does not say anything about mounting on the package and of course it is in a hard plastic wrap so you can not open it up to look. Asked on 7/23/2010 by Anonymous Know the answer? Answer this question 1 answer A: No, there are no screw-holes or other such mounting features molded into the back/base of the surge to mount it to the wall. We do have three other models within our Staples-brand surge assortment that do have the holes in the back for mounting. They are item 764393 (6-outlet basic surge), item 828739 (5-outlet "squid" Surge), and item 764402 (Staples 12 outlet A/V Surge). Answered on 8/30/2010 by Customer Care from Staples

Q: I NEED TO KNOW IF YOU CAN USE FOR 2 SEPERATE TEL NO#S Asked on 10/9/2009 by Anonymous Know the answer? Answer this question 2 answers A: This can protect up to three separate lines. Answered on 10/27/2009 by Customer Care from Staples A: If the two numbers are routed through the same line, yes. Running two phone numbers through a single line is determined by the number of connections in the wall, not the phone line itself. If you already have a two-line service through your provider, this will work fine. Answered on 11/3/2009 by cyrano333 from Hot Springs
