Needed it to protect a desktop compter new to the family - I was pleased at the amout of joules protected with theis for the very reasonable price. I would have preferred to get the green version but just couldent justify the added price when this one does the same thing.

No mounting holes! Lame!

There are no mounting features on this thing. Even the cheapest power strips have holes for mounting on a couple of screws, but not this one. The packaging says to see inside for equipment warranty info, and there's NOTHING inside about it at all. I guess there's no way to rate this item's performance until there's a power surge or lightning hits again.

I purchased this to give surge protection to a second in home desk top not connected to the internet. On sale it was a good buy for the amount of protection offered in a mid range price and protection coupled with the warranty it came with.
