Q: The product comes with an external powers supply receptical but no power supply. The specs on the unit also call for a 5.0 Volt DC, 3.6 Amp power input. If the unit is really drawing 3.6 Amps (Which is probably a translation error) it would be a large drain on a laptop battery. Can someone explain if the use of an external power supply is necessary.
