Q: When I began using the shredder it would shred for about 35 min. The next time it shredded for at least 25 min without stopping. I read on the web that it last only 2 min. Should I not let it run 25 - 35 min. I am afraid it might stop working if I don't give it some cool down time. Linda Asked on 5/20/2011 by Anonymous from New York, N.Y> Know the answer? Answer this question 1 answer A: The recommended run time of this product is 2 minutes with a 30 minute cool down period. It is recommended to allow this product to run longer than the 2 minute run time, as it could cause your shredder to overheat. Answered on 5/24/2011 by Liz C from Staples
