I can't even shred, goes into overheat mode after one sheet. Plus, I didn't realize how heavy the top is. Hard for me to take off.

I have the same model that I bought for personal use over 6 months now and it works great. It doesn't jam. Based on the sound of the engine I would say it's powefull enough to last couple years.
