The pen is at a station where patrons for a fitness facility sign in. It is rarely out of use, but dries up quickly between uses, will skip during use or too much pressure will push off the end cap. It has to be replaced with greater frequency than a comparable product.This, in my opinion, is not one of Stapels better products.

Used infrequently throughout day at a sign-in/out log - runs out of ink amazingly quickly - and unable to buy bulk refills - have to buy whole pen. Love the concept, but I'd rather tie a regular pen to the counter - this is a waste of $$.

The chain security pens provides easy access to writing utensiles at machine centers. Pens tend to get lost, put in pockets,or over time generates a collection of malfuntioning pens to test & find one that works. The chain security pen ensures one pen is always available at a set location. With many employees across shifts, there is no need to lose time looking for or testing pens, nor constantly suppling. When the pen is empty, the refill allows for easy change out but snapping off the old and snapping on the new pen to the existing chain.
