I have never had a brand new chair (they have all been had me downs) so I thought it would be best to get something that would last a long while. I have back problems and the lumbar support in this chair is worth its weight in gold and more add the leather seats and high back. I may never get out of it.

Back Pain Ahoy!

I have an extremely low opinion regarding the ergonomics of this chair. Upon first trying it at the store i was pleased with how comfortable it felt. After assembling it at home and sitting downi still thought it was comfortable. After a few hours it felt less comfortable. After using it for a total of maybe 5 hours over the period of two days i felt that it was unbearable and returned it to the store.

Even with the lumbar support dialed all the way down it is like sitting with a piece of metal rod across the small of your back. You can either sit with your back in this shape ( or not use the back rest at all.

My back is still very uncomfortable after using this chair for such a small amount of time. i would not use this chair if it was free!

Just got it so I reserve final judgement. so far, no negative comment to be made. Longevity is my only concern. Purchased a chair from Staples 2 years ago and the leather wore out in the seat and arms within 2 years. I hope to have better luck with this model.
