I had a carpeted area in front of my desk, and I was ruining the rug by rolling over the edge of the persian rug. The mat immediately solved the problem. The area under my desk is wood, and the mat had no problem transitioning from the rug to the wood. It looks and feels robust, and I am confident that I will get several years of use out of the mat.

Your catalog should give the thickness of the mat, and the lengths of the pegs that grip the rug (I would estimate the grip peg lengths as 1/8" and the thickness as 3/32")

This item arrived the very next day and was delivered perfectly flat and ready to use. But the mailing label was stuck directly on the mats and was VERY difficult to peel off with out creating a sticky mess!

This is the second time I bought this mat and I had the same experience both times. It got multiple cracks after just a few months, and actually cut my foot in 2 places. I will NOT be buying it a third time!

We have been thru several plastic chair mats. They crack over time and move as the chair rolls over it. Is this a better choice so that the mat does not move?
The plastic ones have the spikes in the bottom. We have it on a very low pile rug.

  I'm sorry for the confusion. Berber refers to the style of carpet it's intended for. Berber carpets are a type of carpet that contains large and small tufts, and use a loop pile construction type.
