I have berber carpet. It's not thick enough for mine. The chair wheels which are 2" wheels dent this and make moving after a while difficult.

I'm really disappointed.

I use this in my home office. I was disappointed to find that the very inexpensive version of this rounded matt is no longer sold by another office supply chain. Fortunately, I was able to get this one from Staples for a good price. The previous one lasted me about 12 years and then got brittle and broke into pieces. I suspect this one will not do that as it appears to be a bit more pliable - in all fairness, we cant really know that for another ten years can we! : ) seems to do what it is supposed to. I bought it for a Berber carpet. stays in place well etc. just be very careful when installing it, those prongs that hold it in place in the carpet are very painful!!
