I purchased the portable file to take documents with me to court (I am an attorney). Unfortunately, the latch popped open REPEATEDLY. Every time I put it down (in the car, at security, in the courtroom, in the elevator), it unlatched itself. This was an extreme hassle, and interferes with the "portability" nature of the item.

The recess for the handle is also an unfortunate feature since it will not close over anything higher than 9".

I live in a small apartment now and had no room for a larger file cabinet, this takes care of all my organization for bills, statements, reciepts. Has good quality seperation tabs and the lid closes securily with a slide latch.
