As soon as I got this home, I thought "Oh, what if when I put pens away, they fall through the large openings?" It's true - it happens. Not a lot, but it happens. The bottom lip should be higher up. It looks great, but is not always practical. I have to spend time unthreading my pens and scissors from the holes. It's more of a personal annoyance mixed with a slight design flaw.
