Purchased in Aug 2012 for use as my chair at the office where I am in IT and sit in the chair for six (6) to eight (8) hours each day. I found assembly rather straight forward with the customary practice of starting all the bolts prior to torqueing down on each step. The most difficult ones to install are the arm rests which hold the seat and back in position. I accomplished starting them with the back on a horizontal surface while pulling the seat up to align the bolt mating location to start screwing the bolt in. Same procedure on the other arm to get the bolts started before torqueing down.

I have had no issues with the hydraulic cylinder losing pressure and the seat sinking. The leather surfaces are holding up nicely to date with no rips or tears at the seams. The casters are heavy duty and show no signs of wear or immediate failure.

I am 6'-3" and started at 295lbs now down to 270 and am still in the Big & Tall classification when purchasing items similar to this and would purchase this chair again without hesitation. Competitors have chairs of similar design which sell for about $100 less but it seems you get many more complaints and failures with their offerings. I personally would rather pay the extra; get the higher quality parts and not deal with any warranty claims.

The only con to this chair is it is so comfortable you could very easily fall asleep in it while working. I have taken a couple of naps myself at lunch with no problem when leaning back and my feet up.

I weigh 315 pounds and needed a chair that would hold my weight. The bolts that come with the chair to hold the arm rests on work loose even with Loctite on the threads. The bolts use an allen wrench and they are so soft the allen wrench will not hold well enough to properly tighten them. My chair arm on the right side is a little loose and I really don't trust it. Can't tighten the bolts anymore since the heads where the wrench goes has stripped out. I'm a retired USAF aircraft mechanic so I know my way around tools. These bolts and possibly the nuts should be stronger. On the plus side the chair is nice and wide and holds it's height very well.

I'm impressed. Home office for 25 years, I've been through a lot of standard chairs. Comes in a heavy box, so you know it's not a regular chair. Assembly typical and easy. Your weight is well centered and the tilt friction actually has enough adjustment for heavy people. Only thing more I'd like it variable tilt lock. Only locks in a very upright position

Hard to type this comment as the chair has me about 6 inches low with no adjustment to raise the seat beyond the max. May be good for a 7 foot person,not for me at 5'11. The lower setting has me looking at the top of office desk.

I am 6'10" and 300+ lbs, so finding a comfortable chair is a challenge. I am very happy with this purchase for both comfort and value!
