Well,it de-twitched the twitchy cd-dvd burner in my desktop, which is what I bought it for, didn't work at all on the cd changer in my stereo, which was a secondary purpose. ...Read complete review

Well,it de-twitched the twitchy cd-dvd burner in my desktop, which is what I bought it for, didn't work at all on the cd changer in my stereo, which was a secondary purpose. But that is probably down to me being a smoker who hasn't tried to clean the lens in my stereo for to long.

I purchased the cleaner because the DVD player I had would occassionally slow down and stick on a frame. It would eventually continuing playing. I had cleaned the DVD and that did not help so I thought maybe cleaning the DVD player would. Now it will not play a DVD at all. It will play CDs put not DVDs. Staples refunding my money BUT now I have to purchase a new DVD player. Needless to say - I was not very happy with this product!

We actually used this to clean our DVD player that we thought we had to replace. In a last ditch effort, we picked up one of these CDs to see if it would work. And it did! Now our DVD player works great and no need to replace it.
