    I purchased this desk for my daughter who just turned thirteen and wanted to redo her bedroom. Out with the juvenile pastels and in with the new contemporary color scheme of black, white, grey and red. The espresso color blended in perfectly with the new color palate. She and I easily assembled it in less than thirty minutes. I purchased another identical unit for the family room to replace an older workstation purchased before flat panel monitors replaced bulky CRTs. This is the perfect size for a bedroom. I am considering buying another unit for my bedroom to use with my laptop.

    Nice inexpensive desk. The metal legs stood out too much from the dark wood coloring. We sanded the legs down and spray painted them flat black. It looks so much better. Also, the underside of each shelf/writing surface is not covered with the dark wood laminate. Painted that too. Other than that, works out great in the small space!

      Nice looking product, that is the perfect size for a small to medium size bedroom - or small office as an extra station. It was not that hard to put together, but the Instructions were drawing only, no written directions - and not precise enough - but managed to do it, and it is decent enough piece of furniture for the price.
