    The castors were returned. When I called the store after purchasing the file drawer tosee if they had the castors in stock- they didn't.
    The sdalesperson gave me a stock number and I ordered them online. They were the wrong castors anbd I retuned them along with the file drawer I originally purchased.

    I subsequently purchased another file from a competetor to satisfy my needs.

      These are great! You'll have to probably order them online, but they ship immediately. They work best with Staples crates. They will work with Office Depot crates too, but don't seem to fit as tight.

        I bought several silver colored crates from Staples awhile back and even with the hardwood floors, I was afraid of marking it while sliding the crates. These wheels fit perfectly and works well...no more dragging it across the floor! Great item which wasn't available at the store when I purchased the crates. Glad it was shipped free even though I didn't have a $50 purchase! KOOL! Thanks for the great offer. I wish it was offered more often!

                Answer to third question says caster stems are 3/8" diameter.
                The mounting hole diameter on bottom of my letter/legal file crate (#19115) is 5/8" diameter.
                If both of these are true, it seems that these casters are not the correct cansters for my crate. Is this the case? If "yes", please direct me to correct casters. Thank you
