It looks pretty. It's durability is seriously questioned. In putting together a file cabinet from the same series, I brushed it a glancing touch with a light piece of wood which left about a 1 mm gouge. The amount of glue given to assemble any of these pieces is about 1/4 of what is needed. If they'd given enough it would have raised the cost to the manufacturer by what, maybe a penny? Give me a break. The Chinese don't have enough of our billion$, they have to be so chintzy on white glue?

2 1/2 hours to assemble by myself, with no real hassles, but just painfully slow for something that doesn't have many pieces to it.

It's to be used in a spare bedroom, which is a small home office, so virtually no one else will ever see it. To that end, it looks good. It's a pretty finish, and the fit is good enough. But I would not feel comfortable using it in a real office seen by my clients. This kind of stuff from office stores like this one scratches and falls apart way too easily.
