These binders were exactly what I was looking for: a clear plastic front with colored plastic backing (most have paper backing) to protect my documents from dirt and dust. However I was very disappointed with the paper clip mechanism. Most have 3 metal tabs that you spread apart to hold the document in place. This has what is effectively a zip-tie that runs the length of the cover, and you bend it over at the top and bottom. It's not strong enough to hold my documents securely; the paper flops around inside the cover.

Very disappointed. Put 31 pages in one to have then fall out in minutes. There is no way to make these work for more than a very few pages. I bought a packet and am very sorry. Very expensive product for its limited uses.

This item comes with two tabs to put through holes, one at the top and one at bottom. They are very flimsy and don't hold well.

  It fits 8.5 x 11 inch paper. Most holes are about 1/2 inch from the bottom and top of the paper which leaves 10 inches left. Divided by the 2 hole prongs leaves about 5 inches apart.
