    I use it for a few different purposes, the first obvioulsy for sealing packages via USPS. Other packing tape is thin, flimsy, and not sticky enough. I was introduced to this tape by a Librarian when it was called "Book Tape". I use it for business, personal and teaching purposes. I use it to laminate small objects (handmade bookmarks, business cards, etc.). It's a thick, crystal clear tape that's durable, unlike packing tape which can be hazy. I love that it is wide, 3", because it fits most arts and crafts projects. I use it when I teach duct tape art projects because its quality can handle the different purposes the students ask of it and is on the same level as duct tape. One roll lasts a long time, about a year, so I wish it was sold in smaller quantities.

    I like this tape cause it's wide. Instead of having to put several pieces on the box, one does it. This is why i buy it. Problem is: 1. again, grossly overpriced. 2. the rolls don't carry too much tape.
    From a consumer's point of view, it's too expensive...i'm searching for a replacement and have yet to find one.

        Works great and saves us tons of time when shipping many packages. We have mounted the 3" tape dispenser to our shipping area and it is a breeze to rip and tear the pieces.

        The tape is much more expensive, but saves us time and energy.

        We own a business that ships over a 3 state area. We ship sporting goods: helmets, shoulder pads, mouth guards, socks and much more. The tape shredded easily, was not heavy duty. We have been Staples customers for a very long time. We have purchased tape at the Staples store near us and we are quite angry with the quality of the product we have ordered.
