Bought 3 of these to attach to clipboards for surveys in our office. One month later NONE have coils still attached as all have broken off one end or the other. As they can not be fixed I would have been better off tying a string on one end of the pen and taping it to the clipboard instead.

This is used in a machine shop environment where it is used by machinists to sign out tools. I find that I need to change the pen several times a month. Not having a refill for this seems like a waste. Please look into getting a refill...
