My mother will only do her puzzles in red ink. We purchased a package at a discount drug store and had to return them as they lasted about one day! I was a bit leery about buying the Staples brand as they were less costly than all the others in the store, but we are very pleased with the quality. And everybody knows, "when Mama is happy, everybody is happy!"

This is a good pen. I suspect the tops will tend to get lost, and it would be better if it was retractable but that would probably just add to the cost. Which, by the way, the cost is quite reasonable for a dozen. The grip is comfortable, and since it is also RED it is easy to spot in the drawer or pencil holder when you want a RED pen quick. It is advertised as "less skipping and smoother writing". I think that's true. I picked these up for my boss, and he is happy with the purchase. Thanks, for a good product Staples!

Next time I will pay a little more in order to get a much better quality red pen. I would also prefer not to have to take the cap off to use it. I really only needed 3 or 4 but there were probably close to a dozen. I don't know when I will use them all. I will end up giving them away. Live and learn is my new motto.
