I use composition notebooks as journals for my young students. I've looked at other notebooks but the covers were to thin. I needed the cover to be sturdy and durable. I like Staples' brand because the cover is sturdy enough to support writing and durable enough for constant use. Just for added variety it would be nice to have a choice of colors.

I purchased the composition books mostly for my three grandchildern. They really like them because they are very sturdy and easy to carry and wonderful for notes and home work. I would highly recommend these to any one, young or old. They are the best and really hold up well.

I like the pages that are set up in a composition style because they have lines that are wide enough so that writing is legible but I would like the lines to be a little darker.
