I love this lap desk. My daughter has one and likes it, so I got myself one, too. Previously I was using a small tilted table (similar to a TV tray but for laptops), but had to sit forward in my recliner-type couch to use it. My back hurt after a short while. This one is contoured to the body so it fits well, is big enough for the mouse, and allows me to sit back in comfort wherever I am.

I telecommute 2-3 days a week and use this product in my home office. It was the right height and very comfortable but, today, I noticed little white stryofoam balls everywhere. Upon inspection, I found one of the underneath buttons had come off and the filling was spilling out all over the place. I've only been using this product intermittently for @ 3 weeks! Would not buy again.

    This is a very comfortable lap trap to use for a laptop. It fits your lap comfortably and is wide enough to allow you to use a mouse with the laptop with no problem at all. The cushion underneath is just enough and does not allow the tray to shift on you while working.

    Loved this desk at first, but the pad kept coming loose at the velcro and then it came completely apart at the buttons. Little styro pellets everywhere. I finally just pulled the whole pad and velcro stuff off and use just the top.

          The heat from the laptop gets transfered through the velvet like cushion and the cushion holds onto the heat. It's worse than having your laptop directly on your lap! A huge disappointment!!!!!
