          We were missing our charger for the IPAD and bought this as a replacement. It works just fine.
          It is actually better since a light appears when charging.

            This charger has gotten me out of a bind NUMEROUS times. Even after Hurricane Sandy I was without power for 8 days and had to charge all of my products during short periods of time (while at the library or other public emergency re-charge stations). It was reliable and fast; I was able to plug in my usb cord and charge a 2nd item simultaneously. I am giving this to all of my friends as "Just Because" gifts.

            One word of advice is that this does not rapidly charge iPads; actually it is a lot slower than the regular factory charger. But then again, this was not designed for the iPad.

                  Plugged it in the first night and it charged it to 60% only. Can't find receipt or I would return it. Has not worked since.
