If you can get it on sale, this is the chair to pay the little extra for even though it's anything but the typical low cost home office chair. Very comfortable yet has the classiness anyone would want in a home study where looks and style really matters. Prepare yourself for a box that's super heavy. That weight means it's also super solid. For moments when you feel like you want to spin around, prepare yourself. The ballbearings will have you going faster than a rollercoaster at Disney World. Pay the extra up front and get yourself a chair that really says you do deserve a really great chair. I'm a gimp who lives fulltime in a wheelchair so when I sat in this chair and learned just how comfortable it was - I was hooked! You will be too. We all deserve a little something extra nice every now and again. For those who spend a lot of time in their study, you'll find this an investment well worth the money.

Ordered 2 from the web for a home office after testing one in a store. All was fine until I started to put one of the chairs together and read the standard 'Do Not Remove' tag attached to the bottom of the seat; to quote the fine print, "Bonded Leather on the exterior cushions. Vinyl on the exterior back, exterior sides, cushion sides." ...obviously not the 'Top Grain' mentioned all over the item's web page (and in the store, for that matter). As someone that considers Bonded Leather barely leather at all, never mind the vinyl aspect, this was a rather rude discovery. Rechecking the box it came in, it just said a rather ambiguous "Leather seating surfaces." I've called Customer Service to return the chairs, and telling them of the error (managing to forgo the use of the term 'false advertising' to the nice lady that answered -- not her fault).
Maybe these chairs used to be Top Grain, but they certainly aren't now. I'll check back here in a few days and see if the product description has been updated.

I have been searching for a great office chair for my newly remodeled home office. I am a teacher and do alot of work at home grading papers and designing lessons so I wanted a room where I could go that had everything I needed in one room. I had carefully selected the flooring, the desk and cabinetry, the decor, and all that was left was the right desk chair. I was looking for a brown leather chair. Most brown leather chairs have chrome details and I wanted a wood look. When I went searching at the local Staples, I found the one I loved but the salesclerk told me the floor model was the only one left. Anywhere. He told me I wouldn't be able to find one online either. Needless to say I was disappointed. Luckily, I am persistent and when I looked online at home, I found the chair and it was available. It arrived two days later! This chair looks classic, is strong and sturdy and easy to assemble. The only drawback is that it doesn't roll well on my floor rug, and it doesn't adjust for height low enough for me. I am 5'5" and I can't touch the floor on the lowest setting. With that aside, I LOVE my new chair!
