I am renting and did not want to loose my deposit by damaging the new carpets so these mats get the job done. My Study Buddy and I conduct research on 8' folding tables that we also purchased from Staple and the mats are long enough to stay of the carpet. They slide a little on the low pile carpet, but eventually they will stay place. A great value at [$]

Only one drawback and that is where the packing slip was glued on to the top of the mat. 30 minutes to try and remove it and the glue. Still unable to remove the glue so shoes stick to the mat every time you touch the area where the glue was. Would not buy again only due to this sticker being on the top instead of the bottom of the mat.

Perfect size for space .. the only drawback was the incredibly strong, chemical odor that persisted for a week after delivery. My boss thought there were burning tires in my office.

First one bought lasted about a year (OK). Second one lasted 1 month and cracked, returned it and now this one is cracked in two months. Would not recomend this product to anyone.
