I use the product to store files. It's very compact, but I need to get hanging files to maximize its usefulness. The hinged construction of the lid is a little clumsy.

But it takes up much less space than a file drawer, and in NYC every inch of space counts.

Only minor small complaint. The hanging folders are a bit narrower than the box, one side is securely on "slide" whereas the other side is resting on the top of the slide.

I'd been looking for portable file boxes like these for some time. They're perfect for allowing me to maintain seperate files for different clients and projects that I'm working on. Dollar for dollar, one of the best valued and quality products I've ever purchased at Staples. Since buying my first one, I've purchase three more!!

Nice product but be careful handling it. We bought 2 boxes of 4. [...] When file clerk stacked boxes 4 high, the bottom of the box on the bottom split. Must be GENTLE with these boxes.
