        i needed a cable in a hurry, the computer store in albuquerque was out of them, and i was very pleased to find that staples had it. it seems to be just fine so far. i would like the option of a shorter length, though.

            No, I apologize, the Staples Firewire 9-pin cable will not be compatible with your modem. Unfortunately, we do not regularly stock DB9 female cables and they must be specially ordered. For more information, please call (800) 333-3330. A Staples associate will fill out a form for our non-stock special order specialists and you would receive a response within 2 business days.

            Just for your reference; the following item has one side 9-pin DB9 female connector. However, this may not be what you are looking for.
