This is an excellent dispenser, with one small caveat: use carefully, as the cutting blade is exposed and does not retract. The blade does have a safety cap that flips over it, of course, but one must remember to replace it. In the future, I would probably pay a little extra for the convenience of a self-retracting blade.

I found this tape dispenser more difficult to use than the one that comes free with a roll of packing tape. It requires great hand and wrist strength. It is heavy and has a bulky handle. A man with large strong hands probably wouldn't have difficulty. Also tape sticks to everything it touches when you set the dispenser down. It should have some sort of shield like the cutting edge has a shield.

No directions. I could not figure out how to load the dispenser, or to change the blade. I tried to use this site. When I saw how many people had trouble, i dicided to take it back. I just bought it, and I've never been able to use it. I don't have the receipt, but if they won't take it back, I'll just throw it away. I have wasted a lot of time with this today!

it keeps the tape from bunching up when pulling it out and can get large strips out at one pull but its cutter at the end is hard to get it to cut tape off may be to high up so can't get the tape in the right place to cut it off
