Liked that they were file height and all the tabs to the extreme right gave my files a uniform look. I also liked that it was recycled. However, the quality was disappointing. It defeats the purpose of purchasing items made from recycled materials when one would have to replace them sooner than later due to flimsy construction. I would have paid a little more for quality. Staples needs to do better.
These File Folders are indispensable because you are able to see the "tab" while it is in Hanging Folder-making them the perfect way to a simple, efficient, organized file system.
To create filing system: write subject or category on file tab e.g. "Banking," "Mastercard," "Mortgage" and place folder in separate hanging folders. Alphabetize the file folders (within hanging folders) in your file drawer. You'll then be able to see the tabs and access your files quickly.
No need for those plastic insert tabs on the Hanging Folder.
These file folders are great if you want to use them in Hanging Folders AND be able to see the file folder tab.
It's a simple and perfect way to organize your filing: just write a subject or category e.g. "Banking" on the file folder tab and place it in your green hanging folder. Then alphabetize the categories in your file drawer i.e. "American Express," "Banking," "Home Equity," etc. No need to use those clear tabs that you have to attach to your hanging folders.
I can't figure out what the difference is between "extreme right" and "right of center". The photos for both products are the same. Also, what is the actual width of each tab?
I'm about to re-organize an entire filing system and am going to buy a label maker. I want to make sure I'm ordering the right materials before spending a couple of hundred dollars.
