Q: I want to use letter size files in one of the drawers, so I bought a Staples brand side-by-side letter size adapter. Seems simple, all I need to do is remove the drawer's file guides and reinsert them in the other holes, then slip the adapters over them. However, I can't get the guides out of their holes and I don't want to force them. Any tips? Asked on 12/25/2012 by Anonymous Know the answer? Answer this question 1 answer A: Sometimes the file guides are too tight because the frames are fastened just slightly off-center, which can happen with pre-machined parts; you could try loosening the fastenings which hold the file guide frame together and see if that helps! Q: In comparison to a 4 drawer vertical file 15"wide, 28" deep,52"high that I currently use, would the files I currently have stored fit in this lateral file? Asked on 4/2/2012 by salisburyshopper110 Know the answer? Answer this question 2 answers A: No, the Staples HL8000 Commercial 36" Wide 2-Drawer Lateral File/Storage Cabinet accepts both letter and legal size documents and each drawer is 36 inches wide giving you a total of 72 inches for storing files. You current file cabinet allows for 112 inches for storing files; therefore, all your files may not fit this cabinet. Answered on 4/3/2012 by Anonymous A: The Stapels HL8000 might be a little too small to fit all that you have stored in your current drawer. Answered on 4/4/2012 by Community Answer from None
