Q: Can this mat be used on a tiled surface that is not flat? The tile I have in my office is uneven in that there are gaps between the tiles (tiles are approx. 1 ft square) where the grout is lower then the tile. Each tile also has a slightly beveled edge. If I get this mat I'd just like to make sure that being placed on an uneven surface such as tile described above, it will not become damaged quickly or cause more troubles preventing smooth rolling of a desk chair on wheels. Asked on 2/12/2013 by RStovall from Stockton, CA Know the answer? Answer this question 1 answer A: This mat is designed for all kinds of hard floors and should be fine on a tiled floor. Q: I just got this chairmat. I cannot tell which side goes next to the hardwood floor. Both sides appear to be the same. The one I had originally purchased, which turned out to be too small and was returned, had a very smooth side and a textured side, with the textured side going down next to the floor. This one (the 46x60 inch - Item 20230-CC) appears to be textured on both side. Please advise. Thanks. Asked on 3/21/2012 by Marilyn from Hendersonville, TN Know the answer? Answer this question 2 answers A: If mat you have is textured on both side it is defective and you should return it for a different one. It should be smooth on one side, the same as your old one. Answered on 3/23/2012 by Community Answer from None A: One side of the chairmat should be slightly textured to allow the mat to stay put while the other side should be smoother. Q: Can I use this mat under a 6-chair dining room set (the table is 42"x54") that is currently sitting on a vinyl-type floor so that when the chairs are pulled out it doesn't scuff/mark the floors? Asked on 3/19/2011 by LikkleIce from New York, NY Know the answer? Answer this question 2 answers A: You should use at least two of these sheets of plastic. With only one sheet, the chair will come off the edge of the sheet of plastic and catch on the edge when you slide the chair(s) back. The damage that you are trying to avoid occurs when the chair is dragged across the floor with weight on the chair. You need to have the floor protector(s) under ALL the legs of the chair when the chair is sliding. Answered on 4/24/2011 by Spoke36 from Poughkeepsie, NY
Q: Is this product shipped rolled or flat. (In the stores, the similar mats are sold hanging flat.) Asked on 2/7/2011 by Anonymous Know the answer? Answer this question 1 answer A: Depending on the shipment method, the mat may be flat or rolled. If rolled, it is done in a way that will not affect the shape when it's unrolled.
