As testing coordinator for my school, I purchased the Staples hype highlighters for the testing inservice I conducted. We needed multiple colors to code information for the various tests and procedures. At the end of the 90 minute inservice, the chisel tips look like new ~ same firm shape, no black/blue ink in the tip! I still have "brand new" highlighters in spite of the fact that each highlighter was shared by 6 teachers for a considerable amount of highlighting on testing inservice day! No hype here!!

Really bad... use highlighters all the time (usually buy Sharpie brand); thought I could save a buck using your brand. Never again.
I still like Staples though!

I am surprised so many people liked these from reading the reviews. I ordered them from Staples website, when they came in the box, half were broken! That means the quality is horrible. The ones that weren't broken, when I went to take off the cap to use, the whole neck and ink tip fell off! Very, very cheap plastic quality is just terrible. Never seen a highlighter be this bad!
