These were a great value by buying them in bulk. (Twice as many for about $2 more.) I am in the process of switching my office storage system to paperless, so I have done away with using file folders. The paper clips work great to keep each work order separate until it is scanned into the system.
These also work great for fastening a paper target to an archery butt for practicing that sport.

I, the mighty Lord Farnakon have purchased these "Staples® Jumbo Paper Clips, Nonskid by Staples" to aid in my quest for galaxy domination. Take heed, puny mortals! Lord Farnakon shall rule with a mighty hand and unwavering cruelty! For centuries my nemesis, that meddling space-explorer Captain Oscar Atomic kept me imprisoned in the asteroid belt of the Heng'La system, but no more, for I have escaped to take my revenge on the infernal captain and his intrepid crew of adventurers. The last laugh shall be mine! Hahahaaaahahaaaaa!The nature of my use for "Staples® Jumbo Paper Clips, Nonskid by Staples" is of such clever, dastardly, secret providence that it cannot be revealed, but I shall suffice to say that I was lured into purchasing "Staples® Jumbo Paper Clips, Nonskid by Staples" by the claim that "Nonskid finish helps keep clips from sliding off packets." You see, my moon-beam destructo-laser has been having certain difficulties staying in place after firing, due largely, I suppose, to its location on the low-gravity outer moon of the planet Sat--No, forget about that. Do not repeat what you have learned here to anyone! You are a weak, inferior being, and Lord Farnakon will crush you like a space-beetle of middle Andromeda! Anyways, due to my need for strong adhesive properties, I elected to purchase 10 thousand "Staples® Jumbo Paper Clips, Nonskid by Staples" to further my brilliant plan. Little did I know that I was to be the victim of overzealous marketing! For the "Staples® Jumbo Paper Clips, Nonskid by Staples" have the nonskid coating applied to but one side of the interior of the clips, rendering them woefully inadequate for adhesive uses and resulting in near-disaster for Lord Farnakon and several nearby planet systems. Woe unto Staples for releasing an inferior product for they have incurred the wrath of I, Lord Farnakon who shall not rest until I have made the leaders of this "Staples" work without rest in my Californium mines until they are nothing more than cancerous shells of their former selves, begging to be released! Unless they elect to stand by their "satisfaction guaranteed" pledge and refund my [$]. Then its cool.

Wire gauge was too light to provide good holding power. A slightly heavier wire coupled with the non slip finish would make this a great product.

The quality just was not up to snuff. Each clip needs to reformed to be usable and the finish leaves very much to be desired. They are usable but just not the quality I expected. I will and do shop at Staples when I need office supplies so these are not deal breakers.

The ridges of these clips keep them from slipping off of papers or envelopes. I always keep some in my vehicle for keeping coupons together, letters to mail together, etc.. You can unbend them and use them to poke that "reset" button on your computer cable modem also. Replacing batteries? These come in handy to pop those little AA and AAA's out of their holders. Quite versatile!
