I was initially attracted to the styling of this chair, but was "sold" once I sat in it. I am a trim, 5'4" male who finds most chairs to be way too big to be ergonomically comfortable. This one fits just right! The seat depth allows me to place both feet on the floor comfortably without having to sit forward, the back is the correct angle and has just the right amount of lumbar support, and the height allows me to lean my head back easily. The chair back was difficult to assemble, due to a bolt hole which was not machined properly, but was easy otherwise. Assembly was manageable on my own, but I would have appreciated a helper. The "brushed aluminum" arm brackets are actually a very heavy and sturdy-appeariing plastic, and the tilt spring is a bit stiff, but those are minor complaints. Overall, I am extremely satisfied with this chair and would recommend it highly, especially for somone of smaller stature.

I found this chair to be very easy to assemble. Had a little trouble getting the screws that hold the arms to line up. Other than that it was very easy. The over all quality of the build is excellent for the price. If you like to tilt back in your chair ever once in a while don't buy this chair.I've tried repeatedly to adjust the tilt adjustment and made sure it was in the unlocked position, to no avail. The chair simply will not tilt back in the slightest. Oh well, maybe it will help me with my posture. At least it's fairly comfy and decent lumbar support.

Very nice chair, very comfortable. The only complaint I have is that the tilt adjustment is stiff, maybe that will loosen with time. Also store did not have, so they shipped it to my house, next day it was on my doorstep.

This is a decent bonded leather chair once it is assembled. I have several different Staples model. It appears that this and other Staples branded chairs are made by Lane. -1 star for assembly. The instruction is simple but it took some efforts to align and screw in the bolts between the armrests and the back.
