This Expands to a BOX

Pros: Enough pockets to hold our files. This is good for filing in alphabetical order, like customer names. It can hold a lot. When fully expanded, it is a BOX.

Pros: Enough pockets to hold our files. This is good for filing in alphabetical order, like customer names. It can hold a lot. When fully expanded, it is a BOX.

Cons: There are no label tabs-Letters are printed on top edge of each pocket. The pockets are 1.5-inch deeper than letter-sized paper, not very convenient, but it will be good to fit larger paper. The top edge of each pocket is a bit sharp to touch. It will be good if protected/reinforced by something. The flap does not close well when file expanded.

Overall, this is a good filing tool. I recommend it.

Eco-friendly, 10% recycled product but..

I bought this folder because it was the only availale eco-friendly (but only 10% recycled post-consumer waste--not enough) portfolio/folder/organizer/filer. Unfortunately, it is not a very quality product. It is bulky, but very flimsy and I do not see it lasting very long, which is sad because I don't even use it heavily! I wish more eco-friendly (and higher percentages of recycled materials!!!) products were available at Staples AND other retailers (all types), but this is not the case. And, very unfortunately, as with most eco-friendly products...they just do not have the same quality as "regular" products--SIGH. This country needs to WAKE UP and realize the dire need for ONLY eco-friendly options!!! I would still recommend this product ONLY because it is eco-friendly and the RIGHT CHOICE for consumers to make in this day and age!

Every year I try to do something to make my business more efficient for tax times. I got it in my head that this expandable file would work. I am putting receipts in it and keeping a computer running so that next year when tax time comes I will be ready earlier and it will be a less stressful time for me as well. I could probably buy these somewhere else but I like to shop Staples.

  It is a perfect fit for letter-sized paper, but I had certain papers I wished to store separately in Manila envelopes that are just a bit too big for this file without ear-lapping and I have legal size paper to store also that I do not wish to bend. Both sizes are very easy to file paper and remove as long as the paper fits. And I have enough paper to fill both.
