Overall I like it. I'd like it better if the flexible neck was slightly longer and it was offered in a color other than silver, preferably graphite

Staples...you should fire this manufacturer and no rep one product they produce. 30days after purchase it started flickering like a strobe light. 45 days several bulbs stopped working...60days...does not work. Store manager said they are not know for desk lamps and that i would have to go the manufacturer for a refund or replacement. The time it would take to do that is not worth the money I paid. I wills stick with buying paper and pens at Staples!

A severe letdown

        The lamp claims to be 19" tall. However, once you actually bend the head 90 degrees to point down, it's 9". Yes, a 9" lamp but it only gets worse from here. The LED is not refracted diversely enough because the reflector is too small. It focuses all the light into a 4-6" circle (keep in mind, a sheet of paper is 8.5" wide) and is actually too bright when shined on most surfaces, including any type of white paper. The design is a complete failure because the lamp is too short and the light is too focused.

          This item looks ok and is alright for organizing a few desk items. The main reason I bought this lamp was for additional lighting at my computer desk. I expected the LED light to be brighter and cast more light over the area. However, the light is not very bright and only illuminates about a 1 square foot space.
