I am a Professional Organizer and I use the product often when working on jobs where I need to implement a good filing system. I have also used this product to store files for long term referencing. It is a perfect size, holds a lot of material, and is quite sturdy in construction.

Large capacity - Poor cover design

Cover design makes it difficult to both file and retrieve documents. Files in the middle cannot be accessed without removing entire cover. Half covers are a good idea, but just isn't convenient. A better cover design of this nature would be a flip top which opens all at once, not just left side or right side. I returned this product the next day in favor of a smaller one with a manageable cover.

I bought this file box as an economic choice to store files in a room where water on the floor is a distinct possibility (i.e., our basement). The lid allows the box to be opened at either end without taking the lid entirely off the box--a handy feature when you're doing a lot of re-organizing. If I thought I'd ever need another box so big, I'd probably buy another one.

  This large capacity hanging file has rails, so hanging files can be used. I especially like the extra large quantity it will hold, except it will not be as easy to lift and carry, once it is completely filled with files.
