Works Just Like an Envelope!

Like the product name says, these are envelopes designed for laser-printed checks. They have two transparent windows to reveal two key areas of your check: Your name and return address and the payee's name and address. It's important to remember to place the check with the addresses FACING those windows-- and right-side-up. Of course, even a tree stump could figure this out. But apparently the folks at Staples think you're an idiot and asked me to write this review. Hard to believe but here we are!

Not Exactly What I Needed...

The main address window is too large in height for my checks. It actually allows you to read the check memo, but I can't find any window envelopes that are any better.

This is a good product and I wish you would put it back into the stores. When sending checks these envelopes are the best. I am requesting that you think about adding these envelopes back to regular stock. These envelopes work well and make sure you can not see what is inside of the envelope. Also in the Yuma Arizona stores they are very helpful and always ask if they can help. In the copy center which I use sometimes they are usually fast and effient and always recommend Staples to my friends.

We use this envelope for all our checks and sending out invoices. The one thing I don't like is they have a tendency to stick together in the bottom corners. This has been a problem with several boxes and I have tried numerous things to be sure it isn't my fault. It appears the product sticks in the production process. It is irriating to be stuffing checks and have to stop, pull the envelope apart, to get the job done. It is the only envelope that works with the Quick Books formatting, so I guess I'll grin & bear it!

These envelopes worked very well for our business checks and other corraspondences. We use these envelopes a lot for many things related to our type of business. They hold up well, they do not rip when I am placing items in them. They are a crisp white color. The windows each have a clear cover that the address to where it needs to be mailed to is visible. The return address area is very visible and allows for a clear view of the address. The glue used to seal the envelope works just as it should and seals nicely.

I would recommend these envelopes to anyone who doesn't mind licking them shut. They are a quality product, I just didn't read the description well enough. I wanted the envelopes that close on their own - NO LICKING! Oh well, I'll read the description better the next time I need to order.
