Honestly, I was expecting to be disappointed when I selected this item. I had to shop within our budget - and I had to pass up the item I 'Really' wanted.

When the item was delivered, I tried dragging it in the office myself, and wow - I was shocked. This thing is heavy. Got some help and brought it up... put it where it goes, and honestly, I was amazed. This thing is STURDY. Very durable, very good construction. The sliders are nice and smooth, the drawers are heavy-duty, and this is an amazing buy for the price. Even the top - sturdy enough to put a medium sized laser printer! Wow! Needless to say, we need 2 more laterals ... and as soon as we've got the space cleared out, I'm buying 2 more. The single drawback to this cabinet, is the locking device isn't all that good. It could probably be replaced, but - we don't need one anyway. Overall - this is an excellent value, and I WILL be buying more.

Looks like Hon lateral file..but not..

Product is a good alternative for Hon files if you aren't willing to pay the price, but there is a difference

I need something to organize my files and this product serves its purpose. The lock is not very secure but its better than the one i bought at Off.D where the lock literally fell off.
