We are using this for our home office. This is actually the second file cabinet we ordered from Staples. The first one was the lowest price in the catagory and was terrible! [...] I might add that I ordered a laminate wood top to place over the top of the cabinet and it looks very nice with other wood touches in the office.

This is a great file-storage cabinet. But the assembly instructions are not great and they did not properly tape down the parts inside the drawers such that the interior areas ended up being scratched up due to poor securing of the parts that need to be installed inside each drawer. The tape that held down the parts failed and thus scratched the interior of the bottom drawer. Otherise it's an excellent product.

Two out of the three cabinets I purchased are driving me a little crazy. The bottom drawers on both of them just slide open when they feel like it. Perhaps I need to level them a little more but all three are standing side by side. I need to keep them locked so this doesn't happen. They definitely are durable, sturdy, have a great lock mechanism and the drawers glide very smoothly. I would recommend to anyone.
