The box itself is fine, but if you need to squeeze it into a file drawer or bend it in any way, it will crack. Well, not really crack - shatter is more the word. Thankfully the one of the four of mine that did shatter only did so at one corner so it's still technically usable - but the split down the whole corner of the box means that it would need to be taped up or something if used outside of a drawer or other supporting structure. And I'm already concerned about the sharp broken edges. It's not made of the kind of flexible plastic that you usually find in these kinds of boxes - its a much more rigid and stiff plastic. I think that if you don't bend it or put any weight on it, it should be fine. I wouldn't expect to stack these more than two high without some problems, though.

This is replacing the cardboard box files that don't allow for ease of access when filing. I like the weight of this item. It is sturdy but not heavy.

I've bought several of these file folder containers. I only have a few file cabinets at work do these are great for storing extra files! They're also great if you need to travel you can just grab the box and go! They are the perfect size and fit easily on my shelves in my closet. They are also pretty durable because I am always opening and closing them to add or take out a folder. They fit quite a lot of files in there too, I have hanging file folders as well as file folders and I am able to fit a lot in there with room to spare!

These storage boxes and product is excellent for everyday files or for protecting files for long term storage. Which is also great for keeping bugs at bay in your storage files. Files sit perfectly in box, so easy to set up and find things, should you need to refer to them. It's a wonderful solution since we have to refer back and this way we can easily retrieve files once in a while. Product is sturdy and stackable and stores easily. We would buy this again and plan to so we stay organized and protect our files.
